Penken Action Mountain in the Mayrhofen Ski Resort
Penken Mountain, located right in front of HUBER’S boutique hotel connects with the Finkenberg, Rastkogel and Eggalm ski resorts and is the gateway toone of Austria's largest and most exciting ski areas.
Austria's steepest piste experience awaits the very brave here: the legendary "Harakiri-slope" with a 78% gradient. It is the blackest slope in the Zillertal and should only be skied by absolute experts. Action-packed is the PenkenPark, one of the best snow parks in Europe. In five areas with different levels of difficulty, beginners can try their first jumps, experts can hone their style and absolute pros can let off steam on the giant kickers.
Mayrhofen's Mount Ahorn: the leisure mountain
With its broad slopes and easy descents, Mount Ahorn, on the other side of our hotel, is ideal for families and beginners. The 5.5km valley run also offers plenty of thrills for pros, however.
Tip: Visit the one-of-a-kind White Lounge, an igloo with a bar and chill out zone. Lounge music and comfortable chaises add to the relaxing mountain atmosphere.
